“Wanderful” Marketing

We dubbed the Winter Wander Trail of Lights to be the premier holiday light show in all of Virginia, and the marketing had to live up to that billing.

The overall campaign included traditional and digital radio and TV ads, email campaigns, publication ads, search engine marketing and a strong emphasis on both paid and organic social media. Over a four-year period, these efforts resulted in nearly 185,000 ticket sales, almost one million website views and 9.5 million Facebook and Instagram ad impressions.

Fun fact: Our guests collectively walked enough miles on the Winter Wander trail to circle the earth four times!
