As a PR executive, relationships are priceless. Over the years, I built a great relationship with the lead editor at Field & Stream Magazine. While at the SHOT Show, I caught up with Peter and convinced him to stop by our booth, where I told him that our new Revolver boot should be his top candidate for his “Best of the Best” award. The rest is history. The press release generated numerous mentions across several mediums, with the Field & Stream award leading the charge. The boot picture was a free placement in the magazine. Typically, a full-page ad in this publication grosses at $85,000. Like I said, relationships are priceless! Here
